Chicago sedation dentistHow have you been thinking about your next dental procedure? Although our Chicago dentist would like to imagine that you’re excited for whatever dental work you’re next getting done, he understands you’re probably more nervous than thrilled. But dental anxiety doesn’t need to affect your next appointment; in fact, you can spend your next hour in the dental chair in a state of blissful relaxation. With the anesthesia options available at Hinsdale Dentistry, you will feel neither pain nor nerves. Your dental treatment need not be unpleasant in any way.

Chicago Sedation Dentist Offers Relaxing Anesthesia

  • NuCalm – Though our Hinsdale practice offers the standard forms of dental anesthesia, there’s a way in which we stand out among sedation dentists. We offer patients NuCalm, an incredible relaxation technique that is natural and drug-free. NuCalm simultaneously addresses several of the senses to invoke deep relaxation. While receiving treatment under NuCalm, you will not be unconscious, asleep, or mentally removed from the room. You will simply feel at ease with your treatment and your place in the dental chair. To begin the NuCalm process, all patients need to do is chew several tablets, slip on sunglasses, and listen to soothing music. The combined effects of these steps inhibit adrenaline production and place the brain in a state of peace. Post-treatment, you will feel refreshed and renewed, ready to return to your day. We offer NuCalm alongside other forms of anesthesia to help you become as relaxed as possible and make your treatment a positive experience.
  • Nitrous Oxide – Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, produces a calming effect and assuages dental anxiety. This safe sedative agent may be used in combination with local anesthesia to allow you to relax during treatment.
  • Local Anesthesia – Shots of a numbing agent to treatment sites will prevent you from feeling pain. Prior to injection, our Chicago dentist numbs the area with a topical agent and gently massages the area to minimize injection pain.

It’s time to experience our superior anesthesia for yourself. If you’ve been putting off dental work, contact our office to set up a consultation and learn more. You don’t need to be afraid of the dentist any longer.
